Established in 2003, the first and only university in Luxembourg offers a unique studying environment characterized by international openness and a close relation between students and faculty.
Centrally located between Belgium, France and Germany, the University of Luxembourg hosts 3200 students.
Applicants should hold a Master's degree or the first year of a Master's degree (240 ECTS). Candidates holding a Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) and a substantial amount of professional experience (3 years) are also welcome to apply. Admission is conditional to the examination of the applicant's scholastic record. The teaching language is English. The deadline for application is August 24, 2007.

The program starts on Monday, October 15, 2007 and ends in September 2008. From October 10 to 12, 2007 a crash course in business administration is offered. An integration seminar will be held during the weekend of October 13 and 14, 2007.
Specificities and concept :
The program, based on an original Master concept which combines academic and business resources, is organized by the University and the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg. The course is based on the alternate principle 'work & study' and offers presence in the classroom and problem-solving within mentor companies.
Students are of diverse academic backgrounds and cultural origins, as diversity is an essential ingredient for a program combining creativity and business logic. The teaching faculty consists of scholars from foreign academic institutions, completed by business practitioners from Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
● INTERNSHIPS AND PLACEMENT
Entrepreneurship demands concepts and knowledge from different disciplines, and the integration of these concepts with the know-how and experience of daily business practice. Because the program involves the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg, it benefits from a wide network of business contacts.
Internship spans the whole program. Matching early on students and companies will permit to build a close fruitful relationship.
Students and mentor organizations will learn and work together, in an atmosphere conducive to experience-sharing and joint problem solving. Knowledge exchange, experience sharing will yield benefits to all participants to the triangular relation between university, students and mentors.
